Dr. Patrick Kennedy
Dr Patrick Kennedy is a Consultant Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist at Barts and The London NHS Trust. Dr Kennedy graduated from University College Dublin and completed his post-graduate medical training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in London. He was appointed as a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Hepatology at Barts and The London School of Medicine in 2009.
His primary research interest is in liver disease and he is widely published in the field. His research focuses on factors driving the development and progression of liver disease. He has a special interest in liver disease in young people and runs a dedicated young adult liver clinic at The Royal London Hospital.
His clinical practice centres on patients with all aspects of liver and gastrointestinal disease and has broad experience in ERCP in addition to therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy.
