Consultant Oesophagogastric and Biliary Surgeon with a major interest in laparoscopic upper gastrointestinal, gall bladder and hernia surgery. Special interest in endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of oesophagus, stomach and colon disease.
Vice President and founder member of the European Association of Transluminal Surgery (EATS).
Past President of the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.
Member of Council, the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery.
Past President of the Surgical Section of the Royal Society of Medicine.
