Prof. Sina Dorudi
BSc MB BS PhD FRCS FRCS (Gen), Consultant Colorectal Surgeon
Professor Dorudi is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon within Barts and The London NHS Trust and has a personal chair in surgical oncology at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. His major clinical interests are the surgical treatment of colorectal cancer and pelvic surgery. Working closely with Professor Andrew Silver (head of the colorectal cancer genetics group at ICMS), his research focuses on improving the prognostic stratification of colorectal cancer patients following surgery and the immunology of differing colorectal cancer phenotypes. He is a well established postgraduate trainer in pelvic surgery and is jointly responsible for delineating the new undergraduate surgical curriculum for 2008.
